MasterCard Worldwide announced today that 3,800 Rite Aid Corp. drug-store locations are accepting contactless PayPass cards. As of the second quarter of 2008 ended June 30, the nearly 37 million MasterCard PayPass cards, fobs and other devices issued in 24 countries could be used at more than 122,000 merchant locations globally.
