MasterCard Worldwide and Major League Baseball have teamed up again to support the charity Stand Up to Cancer by posting “Hit It Here” signs in the outfield during the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game.

MasterCard will donate $1 million to Stand Up to Cancer for the first home run to directly strike one of the MasterCard “Hit It Here” signs. The State Farm Home Run Derby took place July 12, but no signs were hit. The All-Star Game takes place July13.
The promotion is part of Major League Baseball’s “Going Beyond” initiative to raise funds and awareness for charities and to support community service.
