Digital commerce and payments company Mozido has named R. Todd Bradley as its new chief executive.
Bradley joins Mozido from TIBCO Software, where he was president since June of last year. In that role, he led customer-facing functions, including sales, marketing and professional services.
Scott Sandlin previously served as Mozido's CEO, but left the company in 2014. In the interim, Mozido executive Mike Love transitioned into the role of president to assume Sandlin's responsibilities. With the appointment of Bradley, Love will take the role of chief strategy officer.
Before TIBCO, Bradley held a variety of positions at Hewlett-Packard, including vice president of the company’s printing and personal systems group, its largest unit. He also previously served as CEO of mobile device company palmOne.
Bradley’s "experience in building successful organizations, especially in the mobile handheld space and within emerging markets like China, enables him to contribute immediately to Mozido’s success in delivering digital commerce and payment solutions globally using mobile phones," Mozido founder Michael Liberty said in an Oct. 30 news release.
The appointment caps off a year of expansion for Mozido, which has seen the company raise $275 million in institutional capital and begin operations in China, Africa and India.
