Mobile payment and commerce provider Mozido LLC is bringing on a former MasterCard executive as its president for global markets.
Ron Hynes, who was previously executive vice president of global prepaid solutions at MasterCard, will join the Mozido team to expand the company's cloud-based, white-label mobile payment platform, Austin, Texas-based Mozido stated in a Jan. 27 press release.
Hynes will oversee Mozidos operations in the U.S., Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, India, China and Asia Pacific.

Hynes was closely involved in MasterCard's
Mozido's close partnership with MasterCard "is at the center of our strategy," Hynes added.
Hynes has more than 15 years of payments experience with the last 10 almost exclusively in prepaid and has served in a variety of leadership roles during his career.
