Digital payment provider Mozido will provide the technology behind the Deutsche Telekom AG mobile wallet in Germany.

My Wallet 2.0 allows Telekom Germany consumers to pay merchants with their Near Field Communication-enabled smartphones with credit or debit cards registered in the MyWallet app.
Austin, Texas-based Mozido's software-as-a-service platform also lets the wallet users participate in a merchant's customer-engagement campaigns, redeem offers and manage digital loyalty cards from their phones.
“We are excited to have been selected by Deutsche Telekom, one of the largest mobile network operators to provide advertising and loyalty services,” Michael Liberty, founder of Mozido, stated in a Nov. 4 press release.
The MyWallet suite of services leverages the latest digital wallet technology and reinforces Mozido's goal of leading the way for deployment of customer-engagement solutions worldwide, Liberty added.
Mozido's cloud-based platform integrates onboard value-add service provider offerings for merchants, mobile network operators, ticketing service providers and financial institutions to enable NFC and non-NFC payment services.
