Nautilus Hyosung Inc. shipped 29,000 ATMs worldwide in 2008, the South Korea-based ATM manufacturer said Tuesday. Nautilus Hyosung did not provide comparison shipment figures for 2007, but the company attributed last year's total to the success of Nautilus Hyosung America Inc., its U.S. subsidiary. "Nautilus Hyosung strengthened its market dominance in North America by supplying more than 20,000 ATMs, topping its 2007 figure of 14,000 units," JH Moon, Nautilus Hyosung Inc. vice president of sales, said in a statement. United States–based Citibank bought nearly 2,000 ATMs from Nautilus Hyosung America last year, Chan Park, the company's president, tells ATM&Debit News, a CardLine Global sister publication. Nautilus Hyosung Inc. continues to push its products in China and India, where it believes the growth potential is "still very great," Moon said.
