Dynamic Card Solutions LLC is pitching Perso-to-Go, a new tool that enables financial institution branches to instantly issue Near Field Communication chips for contactless payments. Perso-to-Go can personalize the account and cardholder identification data on NFC chips from a variety of manufacturers, including chips to embed inside mobile phones and NFC-embedded stickers such as First Data Corp.'s GO-Tag and Oberthur Technologies' FlyBuy. The add-on device and its software, which cost less than $500, connect to the CardWizard instant card issuance hardware and software, which financial institution branches purchase from Dynamic Card Solutions for around $10,000, Ron Zanotti, Dynamic Card Solutions senior vice president, tells CardLine. No customers are using Perso-to-Go yet, but the company wants to be positioned to fulfill demand for NFC-payment technology when financial institutions are ready for it, according to Zanotti. "We're ready for whatever type of interest and demand issuers have, either for (NFC) stickers or once chips become embedded in phones," he says.
