Etihad Airways has inked a deal with Pakistan’s Bank Alfalah for Etihad Guest, its loyalty program, the two parties announced last week.
Etihad Guest members in Pakistan who hold a Bank Alfalah credit card can convert their accrued Bank Alfalah reward points to Etihad Guest Miles, according to the statement.
“They can then redeem these from an extensive selection of rewards,” an official for Bank Alfalah tells PaymentsSource. “Under the agreement, five Bank Alfalah points can be exchanged for one Etihad Guest Mile.”
Bank Alfalah, part of the Abu Dhabi Group, operates through 195 branches in 74 cities across Pakistan. Etihad Airways operates flights to approximately 60 destinations across the world and is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates.
Officials at Etihad did not respond to PaymentsSource requests for an interview.
