PAR Technology has acquired Brink Software, a provider of cloud-based point-of-sale services for restaurants.
The acquisition provides PAR, a hospitality technology company, with a stronger foothold in the restaurant industry. In addition to checkout software, Brink's offerings include online mobile ordering and kitchen video systems. PAR did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
"We have been focused on expanding our reach into new hospitality markets for PAR with new product offerings that allow us to leverage our existing infrastructure and enhance our recurring revenue streams," said Ronald Casciano, PAR's president and chief executive, in a Sept. 19 news release.
PAR is based in New Hartford, N.Y. Brink has its headquarters in San Diego, Calif.
