Pennsylvania State Employees CU has introduced mobile banking through Firethorn Holdings LLC, a wholly owned unit of Qualcomm Inc.

The $3.6 billion credit union maintains a branchless business model, so PSECU said expanding into the mobile environment gives it a new opportunity to provide members with innovative and convenient services.
The service will allow members of the credit union to manage their finances through Firethorn's mobile banking service, as well as the PSECU-branded iPhone application. Using their mobile devices, members will be able to view their account balances, access their transaction histories, transfer funds and pay bills.
