Planet Payment, Pay.On Form International Partnership

Planet Payment is working with Pay.On to leverage its international gateway products.

This partnership allows Planet Payment to offer its merchants omnichannel payment processing by utilizing Pay.On's mobile point of sale, mobile commerce and e-commerce products. Transactions from all channels are completed through one payment processing platform, according to a March. 10 press release.

Through this partnership, Planet Payment merchants will also have access to over 300 alternative payment types and acquirers globally, the release said.

The service is expected to launch in the second quarter.

"With our combined services, we can simplify cross-border expansion for merchants worldwide," Adam Bowman, vice president of sales and business development at Pay.On America, said in the release.
