GiftCertificates.com, a Web site that sells gift cards and certificates, announced today that it has hired Gary Krow as CEO. Most recently he served as 'CEO in residence' for Lightyear Capital LLC.

i2c Inc., a provider of prepaid processing, announced Aug. 13 it has hired Jon Round as senior vice president and general manager for prepaid cards. Most recently, he was vice president of business development at Planet Payment Inc., a multicurrency acquiring processor.

Giftex Prepay announced Aug. 15 is has hired Rebekka Rea as vice president of its North America Network. Before coming to Giftex, Rea served as director of business development for Blackhawk Network, a division of Safeway Inc.

Rêv Worldwide, a conglomerate of payment companies that deliver payment services to the underbanked, announced Aug. 12 it has hired Richard Child as executive chairperson of international strategy and corporate development. He is founder and former principal of the Mattrix Group LLC, a consulting firm.

Rêv also announced it has hired Juan Piña as CEO of Rêv Latin America. He previously worked for MasterCard Worldwide.

Rêv Worldwide hired Jorge Noguera as vice president for global business development and operations across the network of companies. He was co-founder of Makeena Corp., which was acquired by eFunds Corp. in 2007.
 
The company hired Jacob Claflin as vice president of business development of RêvEurope. He previously worked with Euronet Worldwide's prepaid division, PaySpot, Inc.
