Compliance startup Shujinko is launching software designed to automate the cloud security compliance process for businesses, saying it makes the security audit far simpler and faster for businesses.
The AuditX software-as-a-service provides audit preparation across public cloud infrastructure like AWS and Azure, as well as hybrid environments, to help businesses prepare for Payment Card Industry data security standard and other common data audits.
Seattle-based Shujinko, which launched in 2018, also revealed its Automated Evidence Collection Engine, a platform designed to automatically orchestrate, collect and transform compliance evidence directly from public cloud platforms and other SaaS systems.
“Compliance audits are painful, manual, time-consuming — and happen again and again, year after year,” Scott Schwan, Shujinko CEO and co-founder, said in a Tuesday press release.
Schwan, who previously handled compliance audits for Starbucks, cited
"They all want an automated and more efficient process, something AuditX was purpose-built to deliver," he added. "It’s the exact tool I wish we had when I was responsible for information security and compliance at Starbucks.”
AuditX eliminates the slow compliance process by translating complex standards requirements and controls into easily understandable tasks for teams, allowing them to spend less time on audits and more on top company growth priorities.
The software automates evidence collection, maps evidence across multiple controls and across different standards, streamlines audit workflow and clarifies communication across teams and with auditors.
