Cards supported by MasterCard Worldwide are accepted at 1.4 million of the world's 1.7 million ATMs, Leland Englebardt, MasterCard vice president, told CardLine sister publication ATM&Debit News Wednesday at the ATM Industry Association's 10th Annual Conference and Expo in Nashville, Tenn. "Our acceptance marks for Cirrus, Maestro and MasterCard are on the majority of ATM networks," he says. Englebardt, who focuses on PIN-debit acceptance for MasterCard, says one of his goals is to ensure cards MasterCard supports are accepted at as many locations worldwide as possible.
