Swedish mobile payment company Seamless has introduced its SEQR mobile wallet in Belgium in collaboration with bpost bank, with an initial deployment at Belgian McDonalds locations.
The SEQR mobile app enables smartphone users to pay in stores, online, in restaurants, and parking lots. Users can also pay utility bills, store receipts, initiate transfers and receive offers and promotions.
The Brussels-based bpost bank will offer its customers the ability to connect the mobile payment application to their bank account, enabling payments via either QR codes or Near Field Communication at the point of sale.
Belgium is the seventh market for SEQR after Sweden, Norway, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia and Romania. As in
