TSYS will provide service for Royal Bank operations in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States.

Royal Bank has used TSYS’s processing service since 2001, which marked the processor’s entry into the European market, according to a company press release. TSYS serves more than 50 million accounts, stemming from 35 European clients, the company said.

“The Royal Bank of Scotland is a key client for TSYS, and we are pleased to announce the continuation of this mutually beneficial partnership,” Gaylon Jowers, president of TSYS International, stated in the release.

“Being selected to continue processing RBS’s consumer and commercial portfolios confirms our long-term commitment to the European and US markets,” Jowers added.
