The newspaper reported the closings would eliminate 64 jobs. TSYS confirmed the closings, but did not elaborate on the jobs impacted.
"These moves are part of a continued effort to bring clarity and focus to our business model, " TSYS spokesman Cyle Mims said in an email to PaymentsSource. "One of our priorities is to identify our ideal operating structure in order to maximize efficiencies and scale of operations."
