Two community banks recently have implemented products, including mobile check capture and a rewards application, from Malauzai Software Inc.

The $1.9 billion-asset City Bank Texas in October launched Malauzai's SmartApp system for a checking rewards program. More than 1,000 customers of the bank in Lubbock, Texas, download the app each week, Malauzai said Jan. 10. The app enables customers to get immediate updates on smartphones about rewards earned.
The $494 million-asset Ameriana Bank in New Castle, Ind., also recently launched mobile check capture from Malauzai so customers could deposit checks via their smartphones.
Malauzai is based in Austin, Texas.
