Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Ltd has teamed with Etihad Airways Ltd, the national airlines of the United Arab Emierates, to launch a cobranded Visa credit card, the Abu Dhabi-based bank recently announced.
Dubbed the Above credit card, the card incorporates EMV technology and is offered in four variations: Classic, Gold, Platinum and Infinite.
While the Classic and Gold cards carry no annual fee, cardholders must pay 1,000 dirham (US$272 or 543 euros) for the Platinum version and and 2,500 dirham for the Infinite version.
The card’s rewards program enables customers to earn up to two Etihad Guest miles per US$1 spent, and up to 50,000 Etihad Guest miles as a signup bonus.
Special features available with the Platinum and Infinite cards include one free annual vacation package, free airport chauffeur service, global concierge service and complimentary travel insurance.
