Consumers who primarily use cash for transactions can now initiate domestic and international online money transfers through Ukash Money Transfer.

The service will first be available to consumers in the U.K. and will soon expand to France, Spain and the Nordics, the companies state in a Sept. 16 press release.
Consumer using a Ukash code can send up to £200 online through the Ukash website for a recipient to collect at any of Moneygram's 328,000 outlets in nearly 200 countries around the world, Ukash says. The funds can be sent as cash or directly to a bank account or an e-wallet.
The service will target consumers who live or work in the U.K. and do not have a bank account and prefer not to use a credit card, Ukash says.
The service "breaks down the barrier" for those consumers who don't like to put personal information online, David Hunter, CEO of Ukash, states in the press release.

For a short period of time to promote the launch, Ukash will offer money transfers to Poland, India and Pakistan for £2.99, the companies say.
