Allpay Ltd. has won certification from MasterCard Worldwide to make and personalize cards for the brand, the United Kingdom-based card and payment-services firm says in a statement. The certification applies to chip-and-PIN cards that are commonly used in the UK, along with mailings to consumers containing their personal identification numbers. The company says it has the capacity to manufacture and personalize 50 million cards annually. Allpay says it focuses on "small to medium [sized] issuers," according to the statement. Allpay began making and personalization magnetic stripe cards in 1996.
