Union National Bank has launched a promotion in which it is offering 0% interest on all retail purchases for six months to all of its new and existing United Arab Emirates credit card customers, the issuer announced July 12.
Cardholders also still will be eligible for other regular offers during the six-month period, including 3.5% cash back and retail discounts, the issuer noted in a statement. Union National issues Visa-branded cards, and it declined to say how many cards it issues.
Union National developed the promotion to provide cardholders with a flexible and a rewarding option for purchases, Ashraf Bebars, the issuer’s senior vice president and head of its retail-banking group, said in the statement.
Officials at Union National did not return calls seeking comment.
