United Recovery Systems Acquires Illinois Agency

United Recovery Systems Inc., a Houston-based debt collection agency, has purchased Enterprise Recovery Systems Inc., an agency that specializes in collecting for education providers.

With the acquisition of Enterprise Recovery, United will have an estimated 1,500 collectors working at seven centers throughout the U.S. Audax Group, a Boston-based private investment firm, owns United Recovery Systems.

Audax was founded in 1999 and is an investor in lower-middle market companies. It has offices in Boston and New York and manages more than $5 billion of equity, mezzanine debt and senior loan capital.

Enterprise will continue working out of its current facility in Oak Brook, Illinois and will maintain its current leadership.

United Recovery provides third-party contingency collection services and specializes in collecting credit card, retail and auto loans.
