U.S. Bank’s Voyager Network enables fleet managers to track and control commercial fuel purchases, and now the platform also provides key fuel and vehicle usage data from fill-ups at private, unattended fueling sites.
The latest upgrade to Voyager’s fleet card payment network enables corporations, government agencies and other organizations operating private fueling stations to capture important data about vehicle usage and fuel consumption at those locations, U.S. Bank said in an Oct. 4 press release.
Voyager supports data for additional controls, pricing capabilities and robust fleet data including vehicle identifiers, odometer readings, fuel grade and gallons for each fill-up at private fueling sites that accept Voyager cards, U.S. Bank said.
Private fuel sites dispense fuel purchased in bulk by corporate customers, and many still use paper to track fill-ups, said Ramel Lindsay, Voyager product manager. Voyager Network’s new capabilities will make it easier for organizations to extend fuel controls to more locations and track more of the key data surrounding vehicle and fuel usage via fleet cards when drivers are filling up at private fuel stations in addition to commercial stations, Lindsay said.
