Visa and global e-commerce company Borderfree are offering free shipping from Borderfree's clients to Visa cardholders in Southeast Asia.
Borderfree, a New York-based company that provides e-commerce technology for U.S. retailers, designed the promotion, which is aimed at Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Borderfree, which covers more than 100 countries and 60 currencies, manages a wide range of online retailing on behalf of the merchants, including payment processing, fraud management, logistics orchestration and customer experience.

Working with Visa creates a powerful new channel for reaching millions of global shoppers that our retail clients are eager to leverage," says Michael DeSimone, CEO of Borderfree, in an Oct. 17 press release.
Retailers participating in the Visa promotion include Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, True Religion, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Garnet Hill, OnlineShoes.com, Chefs Catalog and Jos. A. Bank.
