Visa Europe Signs Commercial Card Deal With UK Firm

Visa Europe said Tuesday it had signed a six-year deal with United Kingdom-based Purchasing Card Consultancy Ltd. to develop services for Visa's commercial card issuers and their clients. Visa Europe says the card organization's member banks and their customers will benefit from the UK firm's software, consulting and other services. The deal includes cards used for government purchases. European financial institutions have issued at least 10 million Visa commercial cards, a Visa Europe spokesperson tells CardLine Global. The spokesperson was unaware of any similar Visa commercial card deals.
