VyStar Credit Union is expanding its ATM presence in northeast Florida through an agreement with Cardtronics Inc., the companies announced Feb. 28.
The deal is part of Cardtronics’ ATM Branding Program, which enables financial institutions to place their logos on the Houston-based ATM independent sales organization’s machines.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based VyStar will place its brand on ATMs in 10 Walgreen Co. stores located in Alachua county, according to a press release. VyStar has some 378,000 members and operates 30 branches in 17 counties.
“This opportunity provides VyStar with an efficient, low-cost way to increase our market presence and help acquire new members,” Judy Walz, VyStar senior vice president of marketing and strategic planning, said in the release.
