Wallaby Financial has hired Scott Grimes to be senior vice president of risk and operations, a new position for Wallaby, which sells mobile and web-based payment marketing.
Grimes will oversee Wallaby's risk, corporate compliance, data security, and operations and will work with senior executives to enhance risk management and monitoring. The 20-year industry veteran has a background in fraud, AML and compliance management technology. He will report to Matthew Goldman, Wallabys founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Grimes will spearhead risk prevention and operational processes in the company's consumer products, which are available on iOS, Android, Google Chrome, Google Glass, and Pebble, such as the Wallaby App and WalletBoost. He will also contribute to the development of the Wallaby Card, which will replace a users entire wallet of cards. Wallaby also offers a credit card
Prior to joining Wallaby Financial Grimes was Vice President of Risk Management at Green Dot Corporation, from 2007 to 2013. He also served in senior executive roles at Target Corporation and Capital One Financial Corporation.
