Wincor Nixdorf AG, a Germany-based ATM manufacturer, is moving its business-support center in the United Kingdom, company officials said Friday in a statement. The office, which provides information-technology services to retailers, will move this month to facilities in Crossways Business Park in Dartford from the company's current location in Jupiter House at Orbital Business Park in Dartford. Wincor Nixdorf chose the new location because it is easily accessible by car and train and because the building is located next to a lake, the statement says. The company is the world's second-largest ATM manufacturer based on 2007 shipments, according to Retail Banking Research Ltd., a London-based strategic consulting firm.
