Wincor Nixdorf AG has promoted Oliver Weber to be the chief executive of the ATM maker’s U.S. operations, the Germany-based company announced May 11.

Weber joined Wincor Nixdorf in September 2003 as head of its corporate controlling department. He has been chief financial officer and chief operating officer of the company’s U.S. operations in Austin, Texas, since April 2007.

Weber replaces acting CEO Jens Bohlen, who served in the role since October. Bohlen remains a director.

“During his tenure, Oliver Weber has been instrumental in supporting the growth of Wincor Nixdorf in the U.S. financial services and retail industries,” Eckard Heidloff, the company’s president and CEO, said in a press release. “He has a deep understanding of the U.S. market, our company and our [products and services]. We look forward to continuing this U.S. growth pattern under his expanded leadership.”

Gina Miller, who was most recently director of finance and performance management, is taking over as chief financial officer.
