Wincor Nixdorf AG said it will provide BB&T Corp. with automated teller machines and services for up to 100 locations in North Carolina and Florida.

The Paderborn, Germany ATM maker says the deal will provide the retail bank with touch-screen ATMs that will be equipped with Wincor Nixdorf’s ProFlex multi-vendor ATM software. BB&T Corp. is based in Winston-Salem, NC.
“In light of the bank’s careful due diligence, we are pleased BB&T chose to expand its fleet with Wincor Nixdorf,” Alan Walsh, Wincor Nixdorf’s head of U.S. banking, said in a press release.
The deal furthers Wincor Nixdorf’s push to become a bigger player in the U.S. The company also works with major U.S. banks including JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Wells Fargo & Co.
