Technicians have deployed Wincor Nixdorf AG's ProView software in more than 100,000 self-service devices in 40 countries and in all five continents, the Germany-based ATM manufacturer said Tuesday. The software enables the control and remote monitoring of self-service systems. ProView provides remote monitoring and control for ATMs, transaction terminals, account statement printers, postage stamp dispensers and transportation-ticket terminals. ProView also prevents skimming of ATMs because the software monitors the entire area around the card input slot, the company says.
