Prepaid card provider NetSpend Corp. announced today the expanded availability of a reloadable, Visa-branded prepaid debit card at Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. The card should be available at all 520 Winn-Dixie supermarkets in the Southeast by May, NetSpend says. Winn-Dixie started selling the product last year at 54 of its stores as part of a soft launch. McAllen, Texas-based Inter National Bank issues the card. "The addition of NetSpend's prepaid reloadable debit card is one more way for Winn-Dixie to offer value and convenience to our customers during these challenging economic times," Dan Portnoy, Winn-Dixie chief merchandising and marketing officer, says in a statement. Winn-Dixie sells the card for $6.95. The supermarket chain also charges $2.99 per reload.
