MADISON, Wis. – University Of Wisconsin CU said yesterday it has agreed to acquire a Waukesha branch from The Equitable Bank, its second recent acquisition of a bank building in the Milwaukee suburbs.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan CU closed a deal yesterday to buy the 58,000-square-foot former headquarters building of the defunct Ann Arbor News in downtown Ann Arbor.

SCRANTON, Penn. – Tobyhanna Army Depot FCU has sold the building it called home since 1995 and plans to build new offices at a nearby site it has owned since 2006.

OMAHA, Neb. – SAC FCU said it is opening a third Wal-Mart branch in nearby Council Bluffs, Iowa.

ERIE, Penn. – Erie FCU has signed with NCR to install the company’s EasyPoint 3800 ATMs.

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. – Southern Mass. CU is building a branch in New Bedford, bringing the $175 million credit union back to where it began 88 years ago.

FORT WORTH, Texas – American Airlines FCU announced the opening of its newest north Texas branch in the town of Euless, not in an airport as with most of the $5 billion credit union’s other branches.

ALLENTOWN, Penn. – PPL Gold CU, which has served employees of Pennsylvania Power & Light since 1938, had a grand opening for its new branch and administration facility, the first real estate owned by the $100 million credit union.

CORDOVA, Tenn. – HealthNet FCU opened a new main office last week that includes a branch office with drive-up service, a night depository and ATM.

COLUMBUS, Ga. – TIC FCU has opened a new branch in nearby Phenix City, its first in Alabama, which it acquired last year from Five Star CU.

RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees’ CU said it opened a new branch last week and plans to open two more.

BOULDER, Colo. – Premier Members FCU plans to open a branch inside a new Wal-Mart Supercenter in Broomfield tomorrow.

FARMINGVILLE, N.Y. – Fast-growing Teachers FCU has acquired a 20,400 square-foot office building in nearby Hauppauge, where it plans to build a new headquarters.

AUSTIN, Texas – Amplify FCU has acquired a 58,000-square-foot office building in the northwest part of town, where it plans to relocate its operational headquarters.
