NEWARK, Ohio – Fiberglas FCU, which sought a presence on the city’s North End, opened up a two-story branch between Kroger and Kohl’s stores.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – iQ CU moved into its new headquarters this week, marking the completion of the $10.5 million conversion of the one-time city offices.

AURORA, Colo. – Navy FCU continues to speed straight ahead to its record expansion with the opening of its first Colorado branch here May 4.

HARRISBURG, Penn. – The local board of commissioners voted last week to rezone 47 acres of conservation land here to allow Pennsylvania State Employees CU to build a new headquarters.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Pacific Marine CU is opening a full-service, mobile banking branch to support service personnel and families throughout Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

SAN DIEGO – North Island CU, which reported a $50.2 million loss for 2008, announced plans last week to close three branches and lay-off the employees at those facilities.

PHOENIX – Arizona FCU, which reported a credit union-record $115.9 loss last year, said it plans to shutter two more branches, both of them in Tucson.

FAIRFAX, Va. – Apple FCU opened a new branch, its fourth over the past year, in the Kingstowne section of Alexandria.
