    HAWTHORNE, Calif.-Effective Jan. 4, 2010, FAA First Credit Union will change its name to SkyOne FCU. The 60-year-old CU said the name change follows an expansion in its FOM to a TIP charter serving the air transportation industry nationally. The $315-million CU serves 25,000 members.

    LENEXA, Kan.-The $232.8-million Credit Union of Johnson County is absorbing two small, local credit unions via merger. CUJC said it will merge with the $2.8-million Leavenworth Teachers & Community Credit Union, and the $1.16-million Faith Financial Credit Union, Kansas City. Credit Union of Johnson County will retain employees of the merged credit unions.
