CINCINNATI - Visa Inc., which had been stiffening its enforcement of card security rules, fined Fifth Third Bancorp $880,000 for its role in the massive security breach at TJX Cos., which forced hundreds of credit unions and banks to reissue millions of cards.

DUBUQUE, Iowa - With winter approaching, Dupaco Community Credit Union reported it helped gather more than 3,300 garments as part of its 17th annual "Coats for Kids" campaign. The credit union teamed with Cumulus Broadcasting, and Courtesy Cleaners to solicit usable children's coats and garments. Items were dropped off at any Dupaco location, cleaned by Courtesy Cleaners, and presented to Operation New View for distribution to families in need. The program targeted the estimated 50,000 households in San Francisco that have neither a checking nor a savings account, representing 15% of city residents. Participating financial institutions include: Mission Area FCU, Community FCU, Patelco CU, San Francisco FCU, Spectrum FCU, as well as Bank of the West, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Washington Mutual, Union Bank, United Commercial Bank, and Sterling Bank and Trust.
