MASSACHUSETTS Bankers Association, Boston, has elected Cornelius D. Mahoney vice chairman.
Mr. Mahoney is president and chief executive officer of Woronoco Savings Bank, Westfield.
In his role as vice chairman, Mr. Mahoney will help to represent the Massachusetts banking community in its interactions with state and federal legislators, regulators, the media, and the public. He will deal with issues affecting the Massachusetts banking industry that ultimately impact on the health of the economy in western Massachusetts as well as the entire state.
