Most Dutch ATMs now accept Cirrus.

WATERLOO, Belgium-Europay International said most automated teller machines in the Netherlands have been opened to Cirrus cards.

More than 4,000 ATMs will dispense Dutch currency to Cirrus cardholders. Previously, more than 4,500 machines served holders of MasterCard and Eurocard credit cards.

Later in the year, 1,032 machines of ING/Postbank will be added to the Eurocard-MasterCard network.

Europay, which is partly owned by MasterCard International, said 42,815 ATMs in its European network now take Cirrus cards, while 81,229 accept Eurocheque debit cards and 88,651 take MasterCard and Eurocard cards.
