Corrections: 10/11/95 issue, IBAA Backs Leach

An article Wednesday, "IBAA Backs Leach Package, Saying Insurance Provision Isn't So Bad," page 2, misrepresented a statement of Kenneth Guenther, the trade group's executive vice president.

Mr. Guenther did not say his members had not looked closely enough at the package the House Banking Committee chairman was putting together on Glass-Steagall reform and regulatory relief. Rather, he said, his members were supporting the package despite certain elements they oppose, including a moratorium on the comptroller of the currency's ability to expand insurance powers.
