Evergreen Taps Jeffrey Rivenburg To Manage Its Albany Region

commercial lending and retail deposit presence in the state's capital district with appointment of a new regional president. Rivenburg Jeffrey B. Rivenburg has been appointed by the Glens Falls-based corporation to head the four-branch region in the Albany area. He takes over from Francis F. Crannell, who resigned to start a consulting firm. Mr. Rivenburg, who has led the $860 million-asset bank's commercial lending efforts since shortly after joining Evergreen in 1991, will be responsible for drumming up business, particularly in commercial lending, and boosting retail deposit share from the current 1%. The bank recently expanded its trust presence in the area by adding a satellite office.
