David Hender To Retire from TransWorld In California

David H. Hender, president and chief executive officer of TransWorld Bancorp and Trans World Bank, Sherman Oaks, Calif., said he will retire in May 1997. Mr. Hender, 65, has held the positions for the past 25 years.

In May, Mr. Hender will become vice chairman and remain as chief executive of both TransWorld Bancorp and TransWorld Bank. At that time, Craig D. Collette, currently president and CEO of Landmark Bancorp and Landmark Bank, La Habra, Calif., will join TransWorld Bank as president and chief operating officer.
