BT Hires 3 to Replenish Syndication Team

Bankers Trust has added three vice presidents to its loan syndication group, which had been depleted by the departure of several key executives to Morgan Stanley.

The bank assigned Daniel Hagerman, 33, to a post as a syndication manager and Jonathan Peters, 46, to a loan sales position. It also added Wendy Lovejoy, 40, formerly of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, to a loan sales post.

A bank spokesman said the group intends to add at least one more member. The former managing director of the loan syndication group, L. Bram Smith, joined Morgan Stanley in late February and was later joined by three Bankers Trust colleagues.

The bank previously promoted Kevin Sullivan to head the group as a managing director.
