Correction: 03/11/97 issue

Tuesday's Stocks column (page 24) was mistaken in suggesting that Citicorp stock was off for the day Monday. It did indeed drift lower after a downgrade by Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, but it recovered later; the closing price-$126.375, as the story said-was up 62.5 cents from the March 8 close, not down.

Also, the story gave the wrong title for Frank DeSantis at Donaldson Lufkin; he is associate director of research.
