Technology industry leaders Irving Wladawsky-  Berger and Gerald Held have become the 11th and 12th board members of the   CommerceNet consortium.   
Mr. Wladawsky-Berger has spent 26 years with International Business  Machines Corp., mostly in research and development positions, and has been   general manager of the Internet division since December 1995.   
  
Mr. Held is senior vice president of Oracle Corp.'s server technologies  division. He previously spent 18 years and Tandem Computer Inc., rising to   chief technology officer.   
CommerceNet president Randall C. Whiting said the two directors are  typical of the "senior level executives" the consortium is seeking to lead   the charge in promoting electronic commerce.   
  
The three-year-old group has more than 500 members worldwide. Jay M.  Tenenbaum, its founder and chairman, heads a board that includes George   Conrades of BBN Corp., Shikhar Ghosh of Open Market Inc., Dan Lynch of   Cybercash Inc., and Dudley Nigg of Wells Fargo Bank.
