COCC Uses mFoundry for Mobile Service

The financial technology provider COCC said it is working with mFoundry Inc. of Larkspur, Calif., to provide mobile banking services to its bank clients.

COCC of Avon, Conn., is calling its mobile banking service Mobile Insight and said it would not charge monthly fees to its core processing clients for the service through 2012.

"We are telling our clients in the strongest possible terms that they should get involved with mobile banking now," Richard A. Leone, COCC's president and chief executive, said in a press release Monday.

Mobile Insight supports mobile banking over text messages, the mobile Web and a mobile app.

"COCC is ideally positioned to help financial institutions of any size quickly develop and deploy multi-mode mobile banking solutions," Drew Sievers, mFoundry's co-founder and CEO, said in the release.
