Authentify is offering banks a way to build security into their mobile apps.

Authentify xFA, introduced Tuesday, is a mobile app that replaces a customer's password with a digital image and a spoken passphrase. It can protect customers' information when they log in to bank accounts, verify transactions, and add payees to wire transfers, Authentify said. Logging on takes just a few seconds and requires no typing.
Banks can incorporate xFA into their existing mobile banking apps using Authentify's software development kit. A bank would be able to invoke the xFA functionality from within their app.
