LGE Community Credit Union Chooses Diebold Self-Service ATMs

Diebold announced Tuesday that LGE Community Credit Union of Marietta, Ga., has chosen its technology to revamp its seven branches.

The North Canton, Ohio, automated teller machine maker said LGE, which has roughly 100,000 members throughout northeast Georgia, has purchased 15 of Diebold's Opteva ATMs. The deal includes 13 cash-accepting machines .

Cash Transactions of Atlanta is installing the devices, said Diebold.

"LGE is evolving to a modern banking model that appeals to financial institutions looking to connect with consumers in more personalized ways," said Mychal D. Kempt, Diebold's vice president of North American operations, in a press release. "This type of branch transformation is gaining momentum at the national, regional and community financial institution levels, as more institutions choose to integrate self-service and sales-oriented environments."
