A Call for Developers: Geezeo Strengthens Recruiting Efforts

Geezeo, a personal financial management software company, has created a website dedicated to drawing developers' attention to its API.

The site, made live last week, focuses on how partner companies can bring PFM features to any of their channels, including online banking, ATMs, statements and more. The site provides developers with a technical overview and instructions on how to use its API for specific PFM features, including aggregation, budgets, expenses and more.

Moven, Malauzai and Regions Bank are among the companies using Geezeo's API.

Geezeo plans to host a developers conference in early 2014.

MoneyDesktop and Yodlee, both which compete with Geezeo, also make their APIs available.

The efforts point to an ongoing change in the PFM category. Slowly but surely, there is less and less distinction between personal financial management and what is viewed as digital banking.
