Mauch Chunk Trust Company in Jim Thorpe, Pa., has renewed its contract with First Data.
The $330 million-asset bank has added First Data's Real Time CMA service, which provides real-time updating of debit-card balances, to the services it uses, the Atlanta banking technology company said Tuesday. Mauch Chunk also uses First Data's STAR Network along with its card-processing, ATM and fraud-protection services.
Terms of the renewal were not disclosed.
"We view First Data as a strategic partner that brings a unique perspective to the relationship, based on the breadth of their payments solution offering and their industry experience," Patrick Reilly, president and chief executive of Mauch Chunk Trust Company, said in the news release. "This holistic perspective continues to be valuable in helping us navigate the payments landscape."
